Fw: #11

The bunkers and low areas on #11 are so close to Lake level that they flood easily, as water backs up through the drainage.

On Tuesday we received 4.5" of rain. The greens on #6,11 and 12 were flooded and we spent all day Wednesday washing silt off the surface of those greens, as well as cleaning debris from the course and cleaning silt contamination from bunkers.

Today and tomorrow we will concentrate on course conditions in preparation for weekend play.

Weekend weather forecast looks great. Hope to see you on the course.

Greens Aerification went well Monday.  Continue brushing the sand into the holes today. Will blow of excess sand on the greens tomorrow and start mowing the greens Friday.  Next week we will start lowering the cutting height of the greens with plans for the greens to be somewhat back to normal the weekend of March 10th.  The weather forecast looks good and the better the weather the faster the greens will recover.
